Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the preconstruction phase of various heavy civil projects, ensuring all elements are accurately planned and executed.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to develop project strategies and schedules.
  • Review and analyze project plans and specifications, identifying potential risks and challenges, and proposing effective solutions.
  • Lead the underground utility, site work, and roadway construction planning processes.
  • Conduct site visits and meetings to assess project progress, address issues, and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Prepare and present detailed project reports and updates to senior management and clients.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in the construction industry, with a strong focus on preconstruction and project management.
  • Proven experience in heavy civil construction projects, including site work, underground utility, and roadway construction.
  • Knowledge of WWTP (Wastewater Treatment Plant) operations and management a plus.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and clients.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify potential project risks and propose effective solutions.
  • A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
