Claims Representative Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough claim investigations, gathering pertinent information and interviewing involved parties.
  • Review insurance policies, endorsements, and related information to make coverage determinations.
  • Obtain physical evidence, develop third-party information, and secure official records.
  • Communicate with stakeholders in a professional manner, providing prompt service via phone, fax, mail, and electronic mail.
  • Make recommendations and decisions based on claim documentation and investigation.
  • Maintain accurate file documentation, file notes, and investigation documentation.
Requirements:
  • College degree or equivalent professional education and experience combined.
  • Minimum of 1 year related adjusting experience and successful completion of claims training program.
  • Insurance adjusters license(s) as applicable to the position.
