Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to ensure quantifiable improvement.
- Analyze quality data and provide insights to physicians and clinicians on the impact of quality initiatives.
- Prepare and maintain reports on quality metrics and progress.
- Coordinate projects to minimize duplication of efforts and ensure timely completion.
- Manage the schedule of projects and track issues to ensure resolution.
- Develop and maintain databases related to quality initiatives.
- Provide educational support and communication on clinical quality improvement and accreditation.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and institutional policies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- Current NYS RN licensure with approximately 5 years of RN experience.
- Experience as an RN in an academic hospital setting preferred.
- 2+ years of project management experience in clinical quality program coordination.
