Job Title: Pediatric Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Nurse Specialist to join our team at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. As a key member of our Allergy Department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the advancement of pediatric healthcare.

About the Role:
  • Provide direct patient care and implement procedures such as skin testing, PFT, and FeNO testing, IM and Sub-q injections, and administer medications.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • At least one year of previous RN experience, preferably in pediatric nursing.
  • Strong assessment skills, ability to multitask, and knowledge of allergic conditions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Basic computer competency, including Microsoft Office and electronic health record systems.
