Pipestone County Medical Center and Family Clinic is seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide high-quality anesthesia services to our southwest Minnesota community.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional anesthesia care to patients in various settings, including the OR, Outpatient Surgery, OB, and PACU.
  • Collaborate with medical staff and Surgical Services Nurse Manager to ensure seamless patient care and efficient department operations.
  • Participate in performance improvement activities and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
  • Provide expert pain management services, adhering to established guidelines and medication dosing protocols.
  • Function as a resource person and teacher, promoting professional growth and development within the department.

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an approved professional CRNA program.
  • Master's Degree required; previous experience preferred.
  • Active CRNA license and Licensed as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in the State of Minnesota or meeting the requirements of Multi-state licensure.
  • Certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist by the Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists or re-certified by the Council on Re-certification of Nurse Anesthesia.
  • Certification as an APRN through the Minnesota Board of Nursing with designation specific to the board of practice.
  • Federal DEA certification as required by the state of Minnesota.
  • BLS (CPR) certification required.
  • Certification in CALS with newborn module OR ACLS, PALS, and NRP required.
