Job Title: Operations Director

The YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Director to lead the day-to-day operations of the Eastside YMCA. As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the member experience, leading staff in programs yielding membership growth and retention, and developing and implementing operating plans to promote program and/or membership growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement operating plans to promote program and/or membership growth
  • Lead staff in programs yielding membership growth and retention
  • Develop and control department budgets related to the position
  • Hire, train, and supervise staff and volunteers in assigned areas
  • Provide leadership and support to the annual fundraising campaign and volunteer committees/board as assigned
  • Ensure high-quality member-focused programs through innovative program development, evaluations, and ongoing training of staff
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent years of comparable experience
  • Four or more years of program management and supervisory experience preferred
  • High energy, positive, 'can-do' attitude, flexibility, teamwork, attention to detail, and a high degree of initiative
  • Ability to direct programs through leading both staff and volunteers, developing and monitoring of budgets, developing and marketing of programs, and bringing enthusiasm and a passion for fundraising
  • Ability to establish and maintain collaborations with community organizations
