Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team at General Dynamics Information Technology. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing complex electrical and electronic systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical and electronic systems, including circuitry and devices.
  • Apply technical knowledge of electronics principles to troubleshoot and correct malfunctions.
  • Modify circuitry to improve performance and make recommendations for improvements or modifications.
  • Provide operation and maintenance instruction to customer personnel.
  • Prepare operating and malfunction reports and related documentation.
  • Work with engineering staff to determine and solve equipment design problems.
  • Perform quality assurance testing of assemblies and equipment fabricated by other technicians.
  • Provide work leadership to less-experienced technicians.
  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
  • Participate in special projects as required.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of related experience in electrical systems installation, maintenance, and repair.
  • US Citizenship required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
