About This Position

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Worker to join our team at TKC Holdings. As a Food Service Worker, you will play a critical role in ensuring the preparation and serving of high-quality food to our clients in a correctional setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service: Prepare and assist team members in the preparation of quality foods according to planned menus, recipes, and work instructions in a timely manner.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Maintain a clean work area and environment, including cleaning of refrigerators, freezers, cooking equipment, and serving equipment, as well as adhering to all food safety regulations.
  • Teamwork and Adaptability: Work effectively as a team member, as well as independently, and be able to adapt to changes quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to stand and be on your feet for much of the scheduled shift, and perform physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, kneeling, walking, and standing for extended periods of time.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent, and be at least 18 years of age.
  • Experience: Prior institutional food service or restaurant experience is a plus.
