Parsons is seeking a skilled Missile Component Qualification Specialist to support the Missile Defense Agency, Targets and Countermeasures Midrange Program Executive Office (MDA/TCM) in enhancing the Missile Defense programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical and programmatic recommendations for multiple TCM qualification programs.
- Collaborate with production houses to develop accurate qualification programs.
- Maintain qualification plans throughout the program's development lifecycle.
- Keep the TCM program office updated on progress and schedule refinements.
- Ensure test plans are comprehensive for successful test events.
- Support and witness test events to ensure accurate execution.
- Participate in reviews to ensure mission needs are met.
- Attend IPT meetings to track impacts across teams.
- Ensure all necessary resources are available for successful tests.
Required Skills:
- Active Secret Clearance.
- Master's degree with 12+ years of experience or Bachelor's degree with 20+ years in missile defense or similar DoD programs.
- Ability to work independently and lead problem-solving tasks.
- Strong communication skills (oral, written, briefing).
- Proficient in Microsoft tools.
- Pro-active with a self-starting attitude.
Desired Skills:
- Experience in executing hardware qualification programs.
- Familiarity with standards like Vibration, Shock, Thermal, and Electro-Magnetic Interference.
- Knowledge of planning software tools and missile defense processes.
- Experience in government acquisition and program planning.
- Prior work with prime contractors and FFRDCs.
- Technical proposal development and evaluation.
