Job Title: Staff LPN

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff LPN to join our team at OhioHealth. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our healthcare team to deliver exceptional outcomes.

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for providing nursing care to patients and families across the health-illness continuum in diverse healthcare settings. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to assess patient needs, develop care plans, and implement evidence-based interventions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Delegate tasks to unlicensed assistive personnel (UAPs) as needed, ensuring that patient care is delivered in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Current LPN license in the State of Ohio.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment:

This position is located in the Medical Unit 2 department at OhioHealth. The work schedule is 36 hours per week, with night shifts.
