Job Title: Staff LPN

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff LPN to join our team at OhioHealth. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our healthcare team.

Job Summary:

This position involves providing nursing care to patients and families across the health-illness continuum in various healthcare settings. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes and promote a culture of excellence.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Delegate tasks to unlicensed assistive personnel (UAPs) as needed, ensuring that patient care is delivered in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.
Requirements:
  • BLS - Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
  • LPN licensure in the State of Ohio.
  • Successful completion of an Ohio Board of Nursing-approved medication course.
Work Environment:

This role is part of our Medical Unit 4 team, working a 24-hour schedule with opportunities for growth and development.
