- A minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Proficient in reading and writing in English, including understanding labels, signs, and memos.
- Experience in commercial building maintenance in at least two of the following areas: HVAC, plumbing, or electrical.
- Possession of licenses or certifications in plumbing, electrical, and HVAC services, along with EPA Universal Certification.
- Must provide verification of trade certifications prior to employment.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook for email communication and timecard management.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Strong self-management and organizational skills.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC tasks within a commercial setting.
- Physical capability to squat, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Capacity to perform well under pressure and manage multiple, sometimes conflicting, deadlines.
- Professional interaction skills.
- Demonstrated teamwork and effective problem-solving abilities.
- Dependable availability for work.
Description of Duties:
- Conducts service repairs for electrical, plumbing, steam, gas, fire safety, HVAC, refrigeration, filter changes, interior painting, motors, starters, breakers, and related commercial building infrastructure.
- Performs preventive maintenance on all building equipment as necessary.
- Handles plumbing issues and provides effective solutions.
- Maintains records of all maintenance activities and equipment updates.
- Works independently with minimal supervision when required.
- Ensures overall maintenance of buildings and equipment.
- Provides weekly updates during Facilities staff meetings.
- Supervises and assigns tasks to team members, offering on-the-job training as needed, and performs additional duties as directed by management.
- Conducts errands using company vehicles.
Salary Range:
$64,000-$71,600 per year.
