Job Title: Janitorial Supervisor

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Janitorial Supervisor to join our team at CBS Building Maintenance, Inc.

Job Summary

The Janitorial Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily cleaning operations of multiple buildings in Indiana and Illinois. This includes supervising a team of janitorial staff, ensuring a safe and efficient cleaning environment, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the cleaning operations of multiple buildings
  • Ensure compliance with company protocols and safety procedures
  • Train and monitor janitorial staff to ensure a high level of cleanliness and efficiency
  • Perform bi-monthly inspections of buildings to identify areas for improvement
  • Order and manage cleaning supplies and equipment
  • Communicate with clients and staff as needed
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a supervisor or in a similar role
  • Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
  • Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office - Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • High school diploma or GED required
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance
  • Must be able to talk, listen, and speak clearly on the telephone
