Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Pipe Installation Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role involves the installation and maintenance of piping systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Interpret technical drawings and schematics to establish pipe configurations and specifications.
2. Utilize various tools to measure, cut, and thread pipes accurately.
3. Assemble and install pipes and fittings, ensuring proper alignment and secure connections.
4. Conduct inspections and tests to detect and rectify leaks or other issues.
5. Collaborate with construction teams to ensure timely project completion within budget constraints.
6. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a tidy work environment.
7. Document work performed and materials utilized accurately.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in pipe fitting within an industrial construction environment.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
- Strong understanding of various pipe materials, fittings, and installation methods.
- Competent in using a range of hand and power tools.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and troubleshooting skills.
- Capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Physically fit, with the ability to lift heavy materials and work in confined spaces.
- Must successfully pass background and drug screening.
