Job Summary:

Spectra Tech is seeking a highly skilled Radiological Control Technician 2 to join our team in Upton, NY.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Radiological Control Technician 2, you will be responsible for performing high-level assignments that require technical skill and knowledge. This includes:

• Maintaining a radiation protection program
• Calibrating and evaluating radiation detection equipment
• Characterizing radiation areas and posting control areas
• Performing releases of radioactive materials and equipment for unrestricted use
• Collecting and analyzing data for reports and assisting in the preparation of reports

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Three years of experience in radiological protection activities
