AMN Healthcare Allied is partnering with a top school district in Cheyenne, WY to hire a Child Development Specialist to work in the area, providing services to children of all ages.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Child Development Specialist to join our team. As a Child Development Specialist, you will provide counseling services to students on Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and to the regular student population to foster positive coping strategies, motivation, and skill development. Responsibilities will include conducting psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' needs and strengths, developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and 504 Plans, providing individual and group counseling to students to address emotional and behavioral issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' needs and strengths
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and 504 Plans
  • Provide individual and group counseling to students to address emotional and behavioral issues
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create supportive learning environments
  • Provide crisis intervention and support for students and staff as needed
