Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Asset Protection Specialist to join our team at Giant Food. As an Asset Protection Specialist, you will be responsible for protecting our company's retail store assets by investigating the loss of assets, including merchandise, money, and property.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and resolve internal and external theft incidents.
  • Monitor and maintain awareness of high-risk areas to reduce/control merchandise losses.
  • Review shrink reports and assist in reacting to issues and opportunities.
  • Implement and communicate company policies and procedures related to safety and security training programs.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • Drivers License and transportation required
  • Up to one year of related experience
  • Knowledge of criminal laws applicable to various state and local jurisdictions
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all investigation-related information
