CrossMed is seeking a skilled travel nurse to join our team in Birmingham, Alabama. As a Progressive Care Unit RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description:

As a PCU RN, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care to critically ill patients. You will work closely with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans. Your duties will include:

  • Assessing patients' physical and emotional needs
  • Developing and implementing individualized care plans
  • Providing direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments
  • Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care
  • Monitoring patients' responses to interventions and reporting outcomes
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience as a PCU RN
  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program
  • Certifications may be required based on facility requirements
  • Physical abilities to remain in a stationary position, move and lift equipment, pushing, bending, and pulling
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
