About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Expressive Art Therapist to join our multidisciplinary treatment team at Arbour Hospital. As a Group Therapist, you will provide expressive arts therapy, psychoeducational groups, and recreational activities on our inpatient psychiatric units.

Responsibilities
  • Perform initial activity therapy assessment to develop appropriate treatment goals
  • Facilitate 4 groups per day
  • Complete group documentation and communicate with other members of the treatment team via treatment planning and team meetings
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in social work, mental health counseling, or a related field required
  • 6 months experience as a group leader in a psychiatric hospital, partial hospitalization, or intensive outpatient treatment program preferred
