We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Mountain View Regional Medical Center. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care to our pediatric patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to pediatric patients, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and providing wound care.
- Collaborate with our healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for each patient.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and document findings in a clear and concise manner.
- Participate in patient education and support, including teaching patients and families about disease management and self-care.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time to meet the needs of multiple patients.
- Current LPN licensure in the state of New Mexico.
- 1+ year of experience in pediatric nursing, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
