Ferrous ELV Technician

We believe in teamwork and collaboration, and we're looking for a skilled Ferrous ELV Technician to join our team. As an ELV Technician, you'll assist with the intake of cars to be recycled, break down cars to various components, and prepare them for the next step in the process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Using a forklift to handle inventory
• Entering and tracking inventory data on an iPad
• Implementing and documenting all facets of inventory control
• Assisting with the dismantling or disassembly of automobiles that have reached the end of their life cycle
• Removing tires, batteries, and converters from automobiles purchased as scrap
• Draining fluids from ELV vehicles
• Operating a loader to move vehicles in the yard

Requirements:

• Proficient computer or tablet user
• Mechanical experience in dealing with automobiles

Working Conditions:

As an ELV Technician, you'll be working in an outdoor environment and may be near moving mechanical parts. You'll be exposed to all weather conditions and will require ear protection. You'll need to sit, stand, and walk for long periods of time, and will be required to lift up to 50 lbs.
