Physician - Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician - Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team at Johnston-Willis Hospital. As a member of our inpatient rehabilitation unit, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and provide individualized care and encouragement.
Key Responsibilities- Provide medical care and treatment to patients with a range of conditions, including stroke, post-operative cardiac conditions, cancer, orthopedic injuries, amputations, brain injury, and neurological disorders.
- Collaborate with a highly qualified team of specialists, including doctors, nurses, social workers, and case managers, to coordinate and ensure patients receive the necessary treatments and therapies.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care and coordination.
The inpatient rehabilitation unit at Johnston-Willis Hospital is a 44-bed unit that provides comprehensive care to patients with a range of conditions. Our team is dedicated to providing individualized care and encouragement to each patient, and we are committed to helping them achieve their goals and regain independence.
