Job Description:

As a Nurse Practitioner with Supplemental Health Care, you will be responsible for providing primary and specialty care to patients in a correctional facility. You will work closely with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, conduct medical evaluations, and provide education to patients and their families. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records, communicating effectively with patients and staff, and adhering to facility policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in Wisconsin
  • BLS
  • DEA
  • Experience: 1 year of recent relevant experience
  • Board Certified/ Board Eligible
  • Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and facility personnel
  • Corrections experience preferred
