Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Painter I to join our team at The Ritz-Carlton Atlanta. As a key member of our Engineering & Facilities department, you will be responsible for applying paint, stain, and other finishes to property walls, ceilings, and furniture using various techniques and tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply primers or sealers to prepare new surfaces for finish coats
  • Remove old finishes by stripping, sanding, wire brushing, burning, or using water and/or abrasive blasting
  • Cover surfaces with appropriate material for protection during painting and post paint signs
  • Clean up and store paint and painting tools and equipment in designated areas
  • Coordinate with vendors to modify colors of paint, stain, or varnish
Requirements
  • Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree
  • At least 1 year of related work experience
  • No supervisory experience required
