Painter I

As a skilled Painter I, you will be responsible for applying paint, stain, and other finishes to property walls, ceilings, and furniture using various techniques and tools. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently will ensure that all surfaces are prepared and finished to the highest standards.

• Apply paint, stain, and other finishes to property walls, ceilings, and furniture using brushes, spray guns, or rollers.
• Prepare new surfaces for finish coats by applying primers or sealers.
• Remove old finishes by stripping, sanding, wire brushing, burning, or using water and/or abrasive blasting.
• Cover surfaces with appropriate material for protection during painting and post paint signs.
• Clean up and store paint and painting tools and equipment in appropriate areas.
• Coordinate with vendors to modify colors of paint, stain, or varnish.

• Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.
• At least 1 year of related work experience.
• No supervisory experience.
