Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on trucks and trailers, including oil changes, tire replacements, and brake repairs.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues with diesel engines, semi-trucks, and trailers.
  • Conduct welding and fabrication tasks to repair and maintain equipment.
  • Communicate with drivers and repair shops to ensure timely and effective maintenance.
  • Inspect and maintain vehicle computer and electronic systems.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in heavy duty mechanics, with a focus on 18-wheelers.
  • 1 year of experience in heavy machine repair or semi-truck maintenance.
  • Advanced knowledge of diesel engines and welding techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
