Lead Solutions Architect
The Role:

As a Lead Solutions Architect at Booz Allen Hamilton, you will be instrumental in transforming client IT requirements and strategic objectives into actionable architectural frameworks. Your expertise will guide the development of architecture deliverables, design documentation, and prototyping initiatives, while collaborating closely with clients to revolutionize their technological capabilities and enhance mission-critical operations.

Your responsibilities will include crafting solution architectures (SA) and addressing intricate challenges across diverse projects through comprehensive requirements analysis, expert guidance, and project oversight. You will leverage advanced principles, methodologies, and concepts, contributing to the evolution of innovative practices in platform automation, multi-cloud strategies, and service delivery for mission systems. In this capacity, you will tackle exceptionally complex issues, provide groundbreaking solutions, and operate with significant autonomy in decision-making, while also mentoring and guiding team members in both technical and professional skills.

Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in designing, developing, and managing sophisticated cloud applications or platforms at an enterprise level.
  • Strong understanding of Systems Engineering methodologies and IT Service Management (ITSM).
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage project deliverables in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
  • Experience working directly with government clients to translate their objectives into effective technical solutions.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to undergo a polygraph examination.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Capability to achieve Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification within six months of employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience with UNIX and Linux systems, including command-line proficiency and Shell scripting.
  • 5+ years of experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience in architecting solutions utilizing AWS, Azure, Oracle, or Google Cloud platforms.
  • Familiarity with implementing ITSM or IT Operations frameworks.
  • Experience with space systems within the Intelligence community.
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Developer, or SysOps Associate Certification.
Clearance Requirements:
Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is mandatory.

Compensation Overview:

Salary is determined by various factors, including location, education, skills, and experience, as well as contract-specific requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 annually. This range represents the typical salary for this role and is part of Booz Allen Hamilton's comprehensive compensation package.
