Position Summary:

The Chef de Partie plays a crucial role in our culinary team, responsible for:

  • Thriving in a dynamic, high-volume kitchen environment while demonstrating exceptional attention to detail.
  • Overseeing the preparation of mise en place and ensuring proper storage and rotation of ingredients.
  • Assisting in the training of new staff and enhancing their skills in various pastry techniques.
  • Creating innovative seasonal menu items as required.
  • Coordinating the organization of prepared mise en place for diverse events throughout the property.
  • Monitoring inventory usage and placing orders as necessary.
  • Adhering to state sanitation and health regulations, as well as resort standards.
  • Maintaining comprehensive knowledge of equipment usage and safety protocols, and educating new team members accordingly.
  • Understanding and complying with all departmental policies and procedures relevant to job performance.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 year of pastry experience, with a solid understanding of various kitchen stations (sauté, pantry, grill, etc.).
  • Preferred experience of 3 years or more in a similar role.
