Job Summary:

The Gift Shop Attendant sells gift shop merchandise to customers. Unpacks verifies and inspects received goods rejecting damaged items or incorrect orders. Maintains records of items received. Prepares goods for display or sale and sorts and distributes items to the appropriate department.

Responsibilities:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • For better future prospects a certification course in sales and marketing or business management is preferred
  • Ability to work as part of a team. Oral and written communication skills.
  • Customer service skills. Interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to learn about the goods in the store so as to explain to the customer
  • Excellent communication and customer service ethics

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Handle exchange of goods
  • When the sale is made accept payments and hand over the receipt to the customer
  • Arranging demonstrations of goods
  • Helping the customers choose goods
  • Place price tags on the goods and arrange the goods in an attractive manner
  • Ability to perceive the needs of the customer and show them appropriate merchandise
  • Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently

Relax at our infinity edge adult pool and hot tub overlooking the rolling hills and vineyards of Carneros or our family pool area with an elevated deck with shade trellis infinity edge lap swimming pool, childrens pool, hot tub and Snack Shack.

Once you've settled in at Carneros Resort and Spa, you may never want to leave. Luckily, you don't have to, with an abundance of Napa Valley dining options located right on the premises.

Our Executive Chef takes full advantage of the finest local, organic, and sustainably raised ingredients. Our culinary garden allows us to pick the freshest ingredients right on our grounds, and we craft our own breads, pastries, and charcuteries. What we dont make or grow onsite, we try to source within a 150-mile radius of the Resort for the ultimate in flavor and freshness.
