Seeking a high-energy individual to join our team of talented rental professionals at Chet's Rent-All. As a Rental Equipment Repair Specialist, you will be responsible for controlling repair, inventory, and labor costs through proper diagnostics.

Job Summary

This role involves required travel to customer job sites to perform repairs, general maintenance, and overseeing the recovery of customer-rented equipment. You will diagnose and repair all forms of rental equipment and tools in the shop and the field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform repairs, general maintenance, and oversee the recovery of customer-rented equipment at customer job sites.
  • Detect and resolve issues with rental equipment and tools in the shop and the field.
  • Manage work orders, log equipment in and out of the shop, and maintain accurate records.
  • Maintain a well-organized and functional workspace, including your service vehicle.
  • Ensure consistent, regular, and reliable attendance, including being ready for work at the designated start time.
  • Transport, deliver, and retrieve assorted construction and heavy equipment as needed.
  • Complete corporate training and assist in training new staff members according to company standards.
  • Adhere to OSHA and company safety standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Perform minor facilities repair and maintenance tasks.
Requirements
  • Possess a High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Able to learn and navigate our operation system effectively.
  • Five years of documented mechanic experience.
  • Willingness to work remotely (customer's job site).
  • A valid driver's license and ability to obtain a chauffeur's driver's license and DOT medical card.
  • Ability to frequently lift items up to 60 pounds.
  • Possess mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.

The estimated salary for this position is $30.00 per hour, with opportunities for overtime and advancement based on performance.
