At Chet's Rent-All, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Mechanic to join our team of talented rental professionals. With a strong focus on quality, compliance, and safety, this role is perfect for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.

About the Role

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $32.50 - $45.00 per hour, with opportunities for overtime and after-hours work. Our team members enjoy a range of benefits, including 401(k) matching up to 3%, vision insurance, dental insurance, health insurance, paid time off, and six paid holidays.

Responsibilities
  • Travel to customer job sites to perform repairs, general maintenance, and oversee equipment recovery.
  • Diagnostics and repair of rental equipment and tools in the shop and field.
  • Initiate, maintain, and complete work orders, as well as log equipment in and out of the shop through Chet's operating system.
  • Sustain a well-organized and functional workspace that contributes to a positive and constructive rental equipment repair process.
  • Transport, deliver, and retrieve assorted construction and heavy equipment when required.
  • Complete corporate training and assist in training multiple unfamiliar staff members according to company standards.
  • Comply with OSHA and company safety standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Minor facilities repair and maintenance.
Requirements
  • Possess a High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Possess the ability to learn and effectively navigate our operation system.
  • Five years of documented mechanic experience.
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a chauffeur's driver's license and DOT medical card.
  • Willingness to work overtime and after regular business hours as needed.
  • Ability to frequently lift items to 60 lbs.
  • Possess mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.
