We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Production Laboratory Technician to join our team at Genus PLC. As a key member of our production laboratory, you will be responsible for operating production equipment, maintaining lab documentation, and troubleshooting issues that arise.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain production operations of assigned cell sexing workstation
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures and maintain lab documentation
- Learn other ancillary processes throughout the production lab as business needs necessitate
- Troubleshoot issues that arise and communicate with appropriate personnel
- Provide ideas for improvement in the work environment
- Valid driver's license
- High School diploma or equivalent; Post-High School education or experience within a production laboratory setting is preferred
- Ability to lift/transfer 46 lbs. frequently
- Strong attention to detail and focus on maintaining the highest level of quality at all times
- Ability to perform basic math skills
- Ability to utilize a computer, keyboard and mouse to accomplish work tasks
- Ability to perform multiple tasks at the same time
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- Ability to maintain professional verbal and written communications
- Stand for long periods of time
- Monitor equipment and computer for long periods of time
- Exposure to chemicals occasionally (PPE is provided)
