Your Daily Responsibilities:
  • Develop and create plans for bridges, tunnels, retaining walls, and various other structures.
  • Conduct structural design and analysis of steel, concrete, and timber components using advanced structural software.
  • Generate CADD drawings and verify plan specifics.
  • Investigate and implement code requirements.
  • Prepare cost assessments, technical documentation, and specifications for bridges and additional structures.
  • Evaluate structural designs, plans, and reports produced by other design professionals.
  • Collaborate with different governmental entities, private sector clients, and subconsultants.
  • Support structural design initiatives nationwide.
Essential Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in civil engineering with a focus on structural engineering.
  • A Professional Engineering (PE) license, or the ability to secure one within six months.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in the structural design of bridges and related structures.
  • Excellent technical writing and verbal communication abilities.
  • A valid driver's license with a commendable driving record.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • A master's degree in structural engineering is advantageous.
  • Capability to work autonomously and collaboratively with team members across multiple locations.
  • Demonstrated success in adhering to project timelines, budgetary constraints, and delivering high-quality design outputs.
  • Experience in structural design related to buildings and dams is beneficial but not mandatory.
