Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Oncology team at Saint Mary's Hospital. As a Medical Oncology Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care, administering treatments, and supporting patients and their families during their cancer journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' conditions, monitor vitals, and administer orders and medications.
  • Provide cancer-related medications and ensure proper dosing, monitoring, and documentation.
  • Educate patients and families about their conditions and self-care.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare provider staff for close monitoring of patients' conditions.
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited Nursing Program with an Associate's degree in Nursing.
  • Registered Nurse RN Licensure: Must hold a valid and current Connecticut registered nurse licensure.
  • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in an Acute InPatient setting.
  • BLS or CPR Certification: Current certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
