Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our kitchen team. As a Line Cook, you'll be responsible for preparing menu items according to our recipes and specifications, while maintaining our high standards for product presentation and quality. You'll work closely with our kitchen team to ensure seamless service and a positive dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Food Preparation: Prepare menu items according to Applebee's recipes and specifications, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste.
  • Prep Work: Complete all assigned prep work, including setting up workstations and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Sanitation and Safety: Practice sanitary and safe food handling at all times, adhering to Applebee's standards and regulations.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean and sanitize the work area before, during, and after shifts, and complete assigned daily and weekly cleaning projects.

Qualification Standards

  • Positive Attitude: Demonstrate a positive attitude and a desire to learn and grow with our team.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to navigate the restaurant, move and grasp items up to five pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and bend and stoop as needed.
  • Communication Skills: Possess reading, writing, and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to respond in emergency situations.
