We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at Ascension. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for providing clinical expertise and guidance to our caregivers, driving quality and safety initiatives, and promoting evidence-based practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement clinical practice guidelines and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with clinical leaders to identify gaps in care and develop strategies to improve professional growth and skills
  • Conduct unit rounds and provide coaching and mentoring to caregivers
  • Guide the implementation of Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) projects and revise order sets and practice guidelines as needed
  • Support the analysis of research outcomes and develop strategies for incorporating evidence-based clinical practice guidelines
Requirements
  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited school/college of nursing
  • 2 years applicable experience required, 5 years preferred
