POSITION SUMMARY:

This role is responsible for delivering effective and efficient maintenance services at the assigned location.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following responsibilities are representative of the tasks performed in this position. Additional duties may be assigned based on operational needs.

  • Execute all maintenance tasks in accordance with contractual quality standards and timelines.
  • Comprehend contract specifications as they pertain to the role.
  • Ensure adherence to quality assurance standards through regular visual inspections. Provide ongoing mentorship for designated apprentices.
  • Manage inventory and equipment in line with established protocols.
  • Respond to maintenance requests and perform other designated maintenance activities as required.
  • Collaborate directly with the Project Manager regarding maintenance reporting matters.
  • Conduct maintenance activities, including the use of lifts, ladders, or specialized machinery, and general upkeep.
  • Assist in maintaining equipment, supplies, and seasonal services (such as pressure washing, high dusting, and floor care), conduct quality inspections, and perform additional tasks as necessary.
  • Maintain maintenance logs and perform electronic data entry for tracking equipment and vehicles.
  • Possess a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, current insurance coverage, and reliable transportation.

SUPERVISORY DUTIES:

  • No supervisory responsibilities.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years of experience in facility maintenance or a related field is preferred.
  • Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.
  • Must be able to clear a background check.

In addition to meeting the minimum qualifications listed above, candidates must be able to perform each of the established essential functions to succeed in this role.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Strong communication skills (e.g., ability to effectively respond to common inquiries or complaints; capable of presenting information satisfactorily in both oral and written formats).
  • Effective interpersonal skills. Able to interact positively with diverse personalities; maintains professionalism and a service-oriented attitude.
  • Analytical skills: Capable of identifying issues or problems, evaluating facts, and drawing valid conclusions. Able to think critically under pressure.
  • Good administrative capabilities; comfortable managing multiple tasks simultaneously; detail-oriented for quality performance.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

No travel is anticipated for this position.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Requirements will vary based on assigned tasks. This position entails significant physical demands (e.g., lifting, pushing/pulling, carrying, climbing, squatting, kneeling, and prolonged standing). Involves operating equipment and lifting/moving a minimum of 40 pounds, with a maximum of 60 pounds.

SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONSIDERATIONS:

  • Tasks are primarily performed indoors without exposure to adverse environmental conditions (e.g., dirt, heat, cold, rain, fumes). Some tasks may occur outdoors.
  • Utilization of personal protective equipment (PPE) as designated is required.
  • Training will be provided by the company.
  • Most tasks will be performed with minimal supervision.

SENSORY REQUIREMENTS:

Some tasks necessitate manual dexterity.
