Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Analyst to join our team at Fintech Executive Search Consultants. As a Risk Analyst, you will play a critical role in identifying and mitigating potential risks associated with our clients' payment processing operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and Analyze Merchant Transactions: Daily monitoring of merchant transaction and chargeback activity to identify potential risks and trends.
  • Investigate and Resolve Disputes: Work investigation audits related to merchant activity to resolve disputes and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Provide Risk-Related Support: Provide analytical insight and support to other departments on risk-related matters, including transactions, merchants, and best practices for card acceptance.
  • Field and Resolve Customer Inquiries: Field and resolve customer service inquiries from merchants and partners in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with Underwriting and Onboarding: Assist with the underwriting and onboarding of new merchant accounts, ensuring all requirements are met as per the company's underwriting guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Onsite Position: This position requires onsite work in Alpharetta, GA, with no remote or hybrid options.
  • Education: A college degree is preferred but not required.
  • Experience: 1 year of prior risk experience specific to the merchant acquiring industry is required.
  • Skills: Familiarity with various tools used for underwriting and due diligence, including Equifax, TIN Check, MATCH, identity verification, and processing statement analysis.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of the risks associated with the payment processing industry, including fraud, credit, regulatory, and legal risks.
  • Communication Skills: Professional and clear communication skills, both written and oral, are essential for this role, as you will interact daily with partners, merchants, and team members.
  • Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other commonly used applications.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are required to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Self-Motivation and Time Management: Self-motivated and able to prioritize tasks and manage time independently.
