Risk Management Specialist

This role is responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across construction projects by managing insurance programs and contractual risk transfer solutions.

You'll collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure alignment between insurance risk and business objectives, providing strategic advice to support overall company goals.

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Insurance, or a related field, and have 5+ years' of experience in construction insurance or corporate risk management for an EPC organization.

Strong knowledge of insurance products, including Wrap-Up programs, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to manage complex insurance programs are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review contracts to ensure compliance with company insurance standards.
  • Assess project risk and recommend appropriate insurance strategies, including Contractor Controlled Insurance Programs (CCIP).
  • Manage the claims process, working with project teams, contractors, and insurers.
  • Prepare and present materials for annual insurance renewal to underwriters.
  • Stay current with industry trends and implement innovative risk management solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Insurance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years' of experience in construction insurance or corporate risk management for an EPC organization.
