Job Summary:

As an Outpatient RDN, you will play a vital role in coordinating and monitoring outpatient nutrition counseling services. Your responsibilities will include conducting nutrition assessments and screenings, developing personalized nutrition and diet plans, providing counseling and education to patients and their families, and maintaining accurate records and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive nutrition assessments and screenings to identify patients' nutritional needs and develop targeted plans to address them.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide education and support to patients and their families on healthy eating habits and nutrition-related topics.
  • Develop and implement effective nutrition and diet plans to promote patient health and well-being.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation of patient interactions and progress.
  • Stay current with the latest research and best practices in nutrition and dietetics to ensure evidence-based care.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in food and nutrition or a related field.
  • Master's degree in dietetics or a related field (if eligibility for examination began on or after January 1, 2024).
  • Experience as a clinical dietitian (preferred).
  • Dietetic internship or its equivalent.
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) certification within six months of completing a residency program.
