Key Responsibilities- Quality Leadership: Direct the work performed by quality technicians, establish daily activities, and assign projects to monitor progress.
- Compliance and Regulatory: Ensure compliance with all applicable ISO, UL, CSA, and special customer requirements.
- Quality Management System: Responsible for daily application of the Quality Management System, including Corrective Action System, Document Control, Calibration, and Training.
- Quality Improvement: Lead quality improvement efforts using problem-solving tools to resolve quality issues and achieve stable and predictable process results.
- Project Development: Assist in the development of projects relative to error proofing, process aids, and continuous improvement.
- Quality Data Analysis: Collect and analyze production and defect data to perform various quality-related studies.
- Training and Development: Assist in the training and development of personnel relative to defect root cause analysis.
- Software Proficiency: Work in various software platforms, including SAP, Advaris, and QCBD.
- Supplier Collaboration: Work with suppliers on quality issues.
- Manufacturing Support: Provide hands-on assistance to manufacturing departments in resolving quality problems.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or physical sciences.
- Experience: 3-7 years of quality experience demonstrating initiative, detail orientation, technical skills, and communication skills.
- Certifications: ASQ CQE or ability to obtain ASQ CQE within two years.
- Skills: Microsoft Office, especially Excel, ISO 9001:2015 training, SAP, UL, CSA, and Lean experience.
- Nimble Learning: Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new situations.
- Customer Focus: Focus on delivering high-quality products and services to customers.
- Plans and Aligns: Ability to plan and align quality initiatives with business objectives.
- Collaborates: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
