As a key member of the Cushman & Wakefield team, the Managing Director, Project will provide leadership to the overall project management service line for the Northern California market. This role is responsible for developing and executing strategic business objectives for Project & Development Services (PDS) through leadership and advanced expertise in collaboration with the PDS Regional Leader and local market Managing Principal.
This position will actively work to establish and maintain Cushman & Wakefield's presence as a thought leader and first-class service provider. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the business unit's financial performance, ensuring appropriate reporting, allocation, and reconciliation of service line finances.
Key Responsibilities:- Contributes to the overall implementation of strategic direction in the Service Line.
- Demonstrates subject matter expertise in the development and completion of various project types.
- Provides overall leadership responsibility for people, resources, planning, and budgeting within Northern California.
- Acts as the trusted business advisor and strategic partner by the clients both internally and externally.
- Leads the sourcing, pitching, and securing of new business and projects within the local market.
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Certification preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in at least 3 sectors, including Technology/Critical Environments, Healthcare, Life Science, Industrial (supply chain), or Port Logistics.

The compensation for this position will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate's experience and qualifications.
