Purpose

As a Driver-Non CDL, you will be responsible for safely transporting materials to customer sites, adhering to driver safety and compliance regulations, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and secure products, materials, or supplies inside delivery vehicles.
  • Deliver customer orders to specified sites and unload materials safely and accurately.
  • Verify order details and maintain logs of delivery duties, including amounts and/or weights of items, mileage, and locations of deliveries.
  • Act as a customer service liaison between the company and site customers, handling concerns and resolving issues as they arise.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of delivery vehicles and perform routine safety checks to ensure compliance with company guidelines.
  • Use handheld devices to ensure compliance with DVIR and HOS.
  • Maintain hours of service logs and pre/post trip inspection procedures.
  • Perform credit/product return pick-ups and related paperwork.
  • Operate a forklift or non-motorized material handling equipment to load and offload materials to designated areas.
  • Understand and observe all safety procedures and practices to prevent injury to self or coworkers.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED, 21+ years old, and valid driver's license.
  • Previous delivery experience, preferably with building materials and delivery equipment, is desirable.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Pass MVR report.
  • Obtain a DOT medical card.
  • Basic math and measurement skills.
  • Ability to read and speak the English language.
