Job Opportunity

Community Care Alliance is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Mobile Shelter Cleaning and Maintenance Professional.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitization of our mobile shelter facilities. This includes disposing of trash, laundering bed linens, cleaning floors, sanitizing designated areas, and cleaning the outside area of the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispose of all trash and recyclables in a timely and efficient manner
  • Launder all bed linens and ensure they are clean and hygienic
  • Clean and sanitize all floors and surfaces
  • Sanitize designated areas, including bathrooms and kitchens
  • Clean the outside area of the facility, including the grounds and surrounding areas
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Shelter Coordinator

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work independently and follow through on tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and safe environment

Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will work 20 hours per week and will be required to work on-site at our mobile shelter facilities. The work environment will include working on buses, grounds, and in the community (laundromat).
