Director of Marketing

OhioGuidestone is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Marketing to lead our marketing and advocacy efforts. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive strategies to drive client and community engagement, elevate public awareness of our mission, and promote our brand.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute marketing and advocacy campaigns that drive change and promote our brand
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including elected officials, community leaders, and media outlets
  • Lead a team of marketing and communications professionals to develop and implement effective marketing and branding strategies
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to identify issues of public policy and organizational importance and coordinate advocacy efforts
  • Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of marketing and advocacy efforts, measuring outcomes and impact against established goals
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in communications, advocacy, community engagement, or related roles
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing media relations and public relations strategies at a high level
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team of professionals
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to create compelling messages for various audiences
