About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Architectural Sales Representative to join our team at Daltile. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for increasing commercial sales in our designated sales territory by calling on architects, designers, and national accounts to obtain proprietary specifications for Daltile.

Key Responsibilities
  • Travel throughout assigned regions to call on regular and prospective customers, including architects, designers, developers, general contractors, and national accounts.
  • Identify and establish relationships with top architectural and design firms.
  • Pursue new and maintain existing national accounts, following up and reporting information.
  • Emphasize new product promotion during sales calls.
  • Schedule regular product knowledge seminars with architectural and design firms.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge and expertise regarding all Daltile products, allied products, and installation methods.
  • Track meeting results consistently and effectively.
  • Maintain frequent communication with SSC staff to advise of future orders and obtain samples.
  • Schedule timely large project tracking meetings.
  • Replenish and update products with local A&D firms.
  • Perform other assigned duties as required.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience calling on the A&D community or 3+ years of B2B sales experience.
  • High School Diploma.
Competencies
  • Self-Starter.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Exercises independent judgment and initiative.
  • Basic computer skills.
