About This Role

As a Medical Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse with TotalMed Staffing, you will provide specialized nursing care in acute care settings. Your responsibilities will include assessing, planning, and implementing patient care, collaborating with the Medical Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse team, and ensuring quality care delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in medical-surgical and telemetry units, assessing their conditions and coordinating treatment plans.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and telemetry readings, identifying and responding to changes in their health status promptly.
• Administer medications, perform procedures, and provide patient education to promote recovery and self-care management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.

Requirements

• Current RN license
• BLS (Other Certifications as required by facility)
• Two years of recent Medical Surgical / Telemetry RN experience
• Strong communication and adaptability skills
