Epic Travel Staffing Allied is currently seeking a skilled MRI Technologist for a travel assignment.

Position Overview

As a traveling MRI Technologist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality imaging services. This position involves working in various healthcare settings, ensuring patient safety and comfort while performing MRI scans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work Schedule: 36 hours per week, typically 12-hour shifts during the day
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in MRI
  • Experience with Siemens MRI equipment is required
  • Completion of an AMA accredited program in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
  • ARRT (R) (MR) certification
  • AHA BLS certification
  • Preferred: Experience in an imaging modality and completion of a magnetic resonance training program with clinical internship
Skills and Knowledge

Successful candidates will possess:

  • Extensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology, particularly in relation to neurologic, orthopedic, and cardiac systems.
  • Strong understanding of the physics of magnetic resonance imaging and the operation of necessary equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare professionals.
  • High levels of analytical and critical thinking skills to determine appropriate imaging protocols based on patient history.
  • Interpersonal skills for educating and guiding patients and medical staff.
