Epic Travel Staffing Allied is currently seeking a dedicated Travel MRI Technologist for an exciting opportunity.

Position Overview

As a Travel MRI Technologist, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality imaging services. This position involves working with advanced MRI technology and requires a strong understanding of radiologic principles.

  • Work Schedule: 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts during the day
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in MRI
  • Experience with Siemens MRI systems is essential
  • Completion of an AMA accredited program in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
  • ARRT (R) (MR) certification
  • AHA BLS certification
  • Preferred: Experience in an imaging modality and completion of a magnetic resonance training program with clinical internship
Essential Skills

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Extensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology, particularly in relation to neurologic, orthopedic, and cardiac systems
  • Proficiency in the physics of magnetic resonance imaging and the operation of necessary equipment
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare professionals
  • High analytical and critical thinking skills to perform appropriate imaging based on patient history
  • Interpersonal skills for educating and guiding patients and medical staff
