Position Summary

The Project Management Associate (PMA) will provide essential support to the Project Manager (PM) in various project-related tasks. This role involves tracking deliverables and collaborating closely with the PM to ensure project objectives are met.

The PMA will play a crucial role in coordinating engineering, estimating, project controls, client presentations, procurement, and construction activities throughout the project's development and execution phases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate the coordination of engineering, estimating, project controls, procurement, and construction activities during the project's lifecycle.
  • Assist the PM in formulating the initial project timeline in collaboration with engineering, estimating, project controls, procurement, and construction management teams.
  • Engage in value engineering and constructability assessments.
  • Collaborate with procurement to define subcontractor and vendor scopes of work and prepare contract schedules for PM review.
  • Work alongside safety personnel to address all safety-related matters, including the creation and implementation of project-specific safety plans and incident reporting.
  • Support the PM in maintaining project schedules and preparing monthly project review reports for management.
  • Conduct financial assessments and project closeouts on a monthly basis.
  • Assist with Requests for Information (RFI) submissions using the document management system.
  • Provide constructive feedback to enhance the quality of all technical, commercial, and administrative project deliverables.
  • Assist in the procurement of purchase orders and subcontract packages.
  • Monitor the overall progress of design, procurement, and construction activities.
  • Facilitate project close-out and warranty management.
  • Conduct post-construction cost evaluations and participate in lessons learned sessions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the PM, including stepping in as PM when necessary.
  • Adhere to internal standards, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.

A minimum of 4 years of experience in construction project management is required, encompassing various aspects such as planning, engineering, estimating, bidding, and contract administration.

  • Comprehensive understanding of the project design process.
  • Familiarity with the integrated EPC process and construction methodologies.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
